Wesport

Westport, New York
N 44 10.938 W 073 25.827

It was yet another splendid day. When we got out of Otter Creek onto the lake we were taken aback by the beauty once again. Champlain is really a jewel. By the way, I saw a long thin brown furry creature running along the bank of the creek. It could have been a young otter or a weasel or a mink or a martin or a ferret. They are all native to this area and they all look pretty much alike.

Tonight we went to The Depot Theater in Westport for a summer stock production of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. It is one of our favorite musicals ever. The show was great, we loved it. Amateur theater and summer stock theater are real treats. We go when we have the opportunity. We especially like the musical shows.
